This was actually a very pleasant surprise. The website for this park really doesn't do it justice. It's very, very small, but in spite of this they managed to produce around 7 to 8 miles of very enjoyable walking/hiking trails. It's also …
I recently got a mountain bike and decided to put it to use. This park has a lot to explore. There are walking paths, trails, and scenery. You can sit in the shade at the pavilion (which I took advantage of). It’s pretty hot out here. But it’s beautiful.
This is an amzing place, I visited the park just for a few minuts and it was so cool, the weather was amazing, a lot of cool, educated people. The views are super nice, they have bBQ places and scenic views! Go ready to walk and enjoy the …
Beautiful winding trail that leads to a great view over looking as far as the eye can see. Got a little scary when the road and the cliff got close. lol I am not a fan of heights so I wasn't looking then but if you aren't afraid of heights, I bet that was a good view too.
I love walking the trail and the scenic route at Big Spring State Park. It has the best view in all of Big Spring! ❤️
For being away from my home & mountains, the state park and all of its trails has really helped me balance. Once you understand this mountain and all the variations you can walk, run or bike.. it’s a really fun place to spend time in nature.
Park is well kept and has walking trails. I like the little placards that give kids an opportunity to learn about different plant life and the eco system.
I went today for the first time and it was a nice little drive I was alone and just was enjoying the view I will be back and I will walk it
